La Maddalena National Park - Sardinia
Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago di La Maddalena is a geomarine park; it covers an area - land and sea are considered together - of over 12.000 hectares and 180 kilometers of coasts. It includes all the islands and islets within the territory of the Municipality of La Maddalena. The territory of Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago will also represent an important part of the Italian State and Sardina territory in the Bocche di Bonifacio international marine park which will soon be established.

Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo Marine Park
Situated near the north-eastern coasts of Sardinia, not far from the famous Costa Smeralda as the crow flies, the islands of Tavolara, Molara, and Molarotto are the main elements of this marine area rich in Mediterranean colors. With a series of inlets, beaches, bays, and promontories, the protected area extends from Capo Ceraso to Capo Coda Cavallo.
